How do I become a Member?
To become a Member, simply complete our Member Application form. Membership costs $40 and is valid for one year. You will receive an email upon Membership registration with instructions to create your Member account. Once you create your account, you may login to receive exclusive event invitations and discounted rates.
What are the Member benefits?
From discounted event registration to special Members-only events, Annual Members receive a number of benefits including:
- Discounted access to our Annual Conference and In-Person events
- Discounted access to monthly luncheons
- Exclusive access to webinar Q&A
- Exclusive access to webinar materials, including event recordings and slides
- Free access to HEA Member-only and Quarterly events
How do I renew my Membership?
If you are an existing Member, please login using your HEA account information here to renew your Membership.
Please note that your account may have moved to the Non-Member category if over 90 days have passed since your renewal date. If this is the case, simply select the Non-Member Account Type and enter your login credentials.
Am I eligible for a Student Membership?
If you are a student going to school full-time and working no more than part-time, then you are eligible for a FREE Student Membership. Simply complete our Student Membership form.
All student members must be verified before accessing free student tickets for our monthly events. Once you are approved, you will receive an email detailing how to complete your registration. If you have not received notification of verification of your HEA Student Membership within 48 hours, please email us at [email protected]. If you are registering with less than 48 hours before the event, please contact [email protected] immediately to avoid delay.
Do I have to be a Member to attend HEA events?
While some HEA events are exclusively available to HEA Members, many are open to the public and do not require membership status to attend. However, Members receive benefits such as priority registration, free entry or discounted rates, as well as exclusive access to materials and Q&A features. Visit our membership page to learn more about the benefits available to our Members.
How do I register for HEA events?
Visit our event page to view upcoming events and register. Current Members will be prompted to login with their HEA account information (their email and a password they created) in order to purchase webinar tickets at a discounted rate. If you haven't already, please activate your HEA Member account.
*NON-MEMBERS: select “Continue as Guest” to complete registration at the full rate. To get discounted pricing, please first complete registration for Membership. You will receive an email upon Membership registration with instructions to create your Member account. Once you create your account, register for the event at the discounted rate.
How do I attend HEA events?
Due to public health considerations, many HEA events, such as our Pau Hana discussions, have gone virtual. To attend, simply register for the event on our website, provide an email address, and check your email for a Zoom link on the day of the event. Zoom links will be sent to the email used during event registration.
For in-person events, be sure to check the Event Details beforehand for specific event guidelines. Per State and City & County guidelines, attendees may be required to provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative covid test taken no more than 48 hours prior to the event; persons unable to provide such proof will not be permitted to attend the event. Are HEA events recorded?
Yes. For those unable to attend our virtual events, you may still view the Zoom recording after the fact. However, you must be registered for the event in order to access event materials. Links will be emailed to the address used during registration.
How do I make a donation to HEA?
